Here, we will discover our third door at Mary McBride's - which chronicles Arya's journey in the free city of Braavos. After seeing the Game of Thrones Door #8, our next stop is Larrybane Quarry (site of Renly's Camp and other awesome Game of Thrones scenes) and the exciting rope bridge at Carrick-a-Rede. Lunch break and see Game of Thrones Door #6 at the Fullerton Arms in Ballintoy. After lunch, we visit the "Iron Islands" (Ballintoy Harbor) where Theon Greyjoy headed off to save his sister, Yara. Continue to our hotel within steps of the famous Dark Hedges for check-in, relax before another wonderful dinner, and see one of the coolest doors of all - Game of Thrones Door #7. From Dunluce Castle, we will continue with photos stops on the coast at Portstewart beach (where Jamie Lannister and Ser Bronn of the Blackwater arrived at Dorne); and Benone beach (where Ser Davos watched Melisandre burn the wooden effigies to the Seven Gods). It is a must-see attraction, which has graced County Fermanagh's shores for over 125 years. It's also where we will admire all the Targaryen symbolism from Game of Thrones in the pub's more recent, prized addition: Game of Thrones Door #4. After we've had our fill of food and ale in the pub, we will continue to the nearby Marble Arch Caves, located less than 10 miles from Enniskillen. Visit the Pollnagollum Cave, in the heart of Fermanagh’s Boho cave country. Enjoy the Pollnagollum / Coolarkan Cave Walk through Belmore Forest (7 km / 2 hr). Full English Breakfast. Check out of our Irish Castle Hotel this morning, and we continue our Game of Thrones journey eastward. We will travel on a scenic drive through the beautiful Mourne Mountains, where scenes were filmed "North of the Wall", and continue on to Tollymore Park. The enchanting forests of Tollymore have been used as a backdrop for countless scenes in Game of Thrones; including where it all began, like the haunted forest north of the wall where Will and others from the Night's Watch encountered the first Whitewalkers and the wildling pit. Or where Ned Stark and his sons find the Direwolf pups in the Wolfswood - and this is where we will get meet two of the actual Direwolves from the show - Odin and Thor ("Summer" and "Greywind")! Next, we drive to the nearby coast for our lunch break, and to see Game of Thrones Door #3 at Percy French in Newcastle. OCTOBER 24: WINTERFELL / RIVERLANDS / BELFAST
Full English Breakfast. Today, on our last day of this epic Tour, we check out of our hotel and begin the day with a very short drive to nearby Castle Ward, a National Trust site and home of the original Winterfell Castle. From the first opening scenes of House Stark in Season 1, to the final epic episodes of Season 8, Winterfell Castle has been at the heart of Game of Thrones filming in Northern Ireland - it is the country's premier Game of Thrones visitor attraction (more are coming!) and it is appropriate that we finish our Game of Thrones Legacy Tour here, at Winterfell. We will spend a good part of the day here; taking in all the nooks and crannies the site has to offer, including the exciting Archery Movie Set Experience with Winterfell's Master-at-Arms - adorning the iconic Stark cloak, you will get an Insider-Tour the movie set, stand exactly where Jon Snow, Robb, and Bran Stark stood, and enjoy learning the basics of archery. We will also see tons of filming locations on our very scenic Winterfell Walking Tour. There are truly so many things to see here - when it comes to Northern Ireland "Game of Thrones® Territory", the National Trust's Castle Ward is among the top places to visit! After spending the better part of a day at Winterfell, we head north to Belfast for hotel check-in and our Farewell Dinner. Overnight in Belfast Hotel, Northern Ireland. (B, D)
